My work connects the choices states make with their consequences for people.

I am a PhD student in Politics at the University of Virginia. My interests span international relations, international political economy, migration, foreign policy, and great-power competition.

I earned an MA in Political Science at the University of Southern Mississippi and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Public Administration at the University of Barishal, Bangladesh. Before graduate study in the United States, I taught Development Studies at Daffodil International University.

I use quantitative, qualitative, and computational approaches, including regression analysis, text analysis, and process tracing. Alongside academic research, I write on politics and international affairs for public audiences.
